RFIDST is a novel system for the identification of actuators on touch screens. The system is integrated with an RFID antenna that is prepared completely around the screen.

 

This antenna collects the information of the tags located in the range of action and transmits it to the processor of the tablet or mobile phone, allowing the installed applications can use these data to create software interactions differentiated for each one of the actuators identified.

 

In the video presentation you can see a drawing software to recognize the actuators (finger puppets in this case) assigns a color and a distinct sound to each.

 

The current prototype uses a External RFID antenna, however the RFID and NFC technology now enable the production of tablets that integrate it.
